How Can You Help The South Carolina 988 Lifeline?
The SC 988 Lifeline is operated by Mental Health America of Greenville County (MHAGC). Current services are being funded through grants and donations. At this time SC has not identified sustainable funding to staff the 988 SC Lifeline call center. There are many South Carolinians who need our help, however, and the growing number of calls and information requests to 988 puts our limited resources under constant strain. Our program gratefully accepts contributions from many dedicated volunteers and financial supporters.
If you would like to help MHAGC’s important mission to provide assistance to people in crisis and improve overall mental health, there are several ways to pitch in.
We accept contributions through our secure GoFundMe page. All donations help fund the SC call center provided by MHAGC.
Sign up to be a 988 SC Lifeline volunteer and help others find hope. You can volunteer virtually or in person.
